Art is in every drop of Creation; behind every thought, shape and form. It enables us to express our creativity while challenging our intellect. Art is essential for students to understand, practice and appreciate, as it is through the arts that students can learn to express their passions and emotions, as well as to explore ideas and cultures in delightfully different ways. Achievement in the arts cultivates essential skills, such as problem solving, creative thinking, effective planning, time management, teamwork, effective communication, and an understanding of technology.
Crafts comprise a whole host of activities and hobbies that are related to making things with one’s hands and skill. These can be sub-divided into handicrafts or “traditional crafts” (doing things the old way) and “the rest”. Some crafts have been practiced for centuries, while others are modern inventions, or popularizations of crafts which were originally practiced in a very small geographic area.
As a result Arts education offers students the opportunity to imagine, envision, set goals, explore methods, identify alternatives, evaluate, solve problems and work collaboratively. As they study and create in the arts, students use the potential of the human mind to its full and unique capacity. Our united works could open up a new horizon -that’s the reason behind the establishment of the youngest club of HTC rediscovering us, beautification of the college, nurturing new talents.
